Shipping policy

We care about our clients and we will do our best to make your purchase a satisfactory experience in every way.  All garments are shipped once full payment has been received. If full payment has not been submitted, DaintyThings by LMM will hold your order until the final payment is completed and we will prepare to ship your items the next business day.

Please note we photograph in natural light, but due to the many differences in monitors, backgrounds, and mobile devices, it is not possible to guarantee the colors are exactly as you saw them on the website.  We try hard to ensure that the color of the fabric on the site matches as close as possible to the fabric of your desire.  Our swatch request is free, you just pay shipping and handling fee.  So, if you want to make sure the color is exactly what you need please request a swatch by emailing us at daintythings2003@gmail.com

Since every custom ready to wear garment is made one by one, and some sections are hand stitched to fit, orders can take between 1 to 6 weeks to completion depending on the current volume of orders.  After your order transaction has been completed you will receive a confirmation email of payment and processing time.  Within that time frame you will then receive an email that your order has shipped along with a tracking number. 

Please understand that once your order has left our facility it is in the hands of the customer and the carrier (USPS) or UPS to keep track of the package. Any problems to arise while your order is in transit from us to you it will be at the responsibility of the carrier (USPS) or UPS to communicate to you.  Please contact the carrier for details.

We ship Monday - Friday (excluding weekends and US Holidays).

Prior to shipping DaintyThings by LMM inspects all garments for any malfunction in the garment i.e., rips and tears prior to shipment.  DaintyThings by LMM will not be held accountable for any mishandling of your garment once it has been unboxed (tried on without care or damaged at an event).  If at any time your merchandise is shipped, we will provide you a tracking number from the carrier.  Customer will be responsible to follow through with their tracking number and DaintyThings by LMM will no longer be liable for your package.

RUSH ORDERS:  If you need your order in a rush email us after placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate your needs, this may require additional shipping costs that we will inform you of.

 


Please note: Customers are responsible for all related shipping expenses. All Shipping charges are non-refundableA restocking fee will be issued on orders that are returned due to an undeliverable address.  We do not accept PO Box address.

We recommend shipping packages back with a tracking number. Lost packages without proof of receipt will not be given store credit.

DOMESTIC FLAT RATE: We charge $19.50 or more for all orders under $175.00, and shipping is FREE for orders over $175.00.  For orders heavier than 6lbs we will notify you after placing your order with the calculated domestic rate. You will have the opportunity to cancel your order at that point.

 

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to ship to any international locations. We are currently only offering the rates above through the USPS and UPS services.

 

We are not responsible for late shipments due to inclement weather, holidays, natural disasters, or courier delays. Please keep in mind that holidays and weekends do not count as a business day and should be taken into consideration when calculating shipping times. We entrust USPS or UPS to deliver your package(s) on time, however, in the event your package is delayed, we are unable to offer a reimbursement of shipping charges.  Once an item has shipped and is no longer in our possession, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact USPS or UPS regarding any shipping issues or delays. Please understand, we have no control over shipping or what happens during transit. USPS can be reached via +1-800-275-8777 and UPS can be reached via 1-800-742-5877. All orders have insurance.

Orders will be shipped within 1 to 6 weeks business days.  Currently, we are unable to accommodate International orders.

**IMPORTANT: Please be aware that we are not responsible for incorrect sizing. Please ensure all sizes are correct prior to placing your order. **

 

LOST/UNDELIVERABLE SHIPMENTS

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If the product comes returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you and re-ship the item at our expense—if we are at fault. However, if the product is returned as undeliverable due to a customer entering the incorrect address or missing suite/apartment number, the product will be re-shipped at the customer’s expense. Customers will have 7 days to remit payment for re-shipping. Orders that have not been reshipped within 7 days will be assumed abandoned and will be discarded. We do not offer storage of undeliverable orders. Any order that is unable to be delivered, after several attempts, there will be no refund and garment will be resold.

 

We hope when you receive your order you would love it, but if we made an error and shipped an incorrect item please email us within 48 hours at daintything2003@gmail.com so we can fix it right away!
